The future of Europe: What role for Visegrad cooperation?

Invited experts from V4 countries and other EU regions will discuss these topics and opportunities to establish deeper cooperation. To allow a deeper discussion, the workshop is divided into two panels:

– Tuesday, 15 June, 10:00 – 11:30: EU in 2021: Potential for regional cooperation, or cacophony of interests? Assessing what lessons have the EU states learnt about their mutual cooperation and about cooperation of different EU regions during the covid crisis. What should the cooperation in the post-covid EU look like, what are the key areas where this cooperation should happen and what role could be played by the Visegrad cooperation?

– Tuesday, 15 June, 13:00 – 14:30: The post-covid EU recovery: Solving the climate and covid crises together: Exploring how can the different regions in the EU cooperate on tackling both the covid crisis and the long-term climate crisis. Which partners could the Visegrad countries find to collaborate on climate projects?
