29. marca 2019 Spojené kráľovstvo Veľkej Británie a Severného Írska definitívne opustí Európsku úniu. Čo presne sa stane o deň neskôr, však zatiaľ s istotou nedokáže povedať nikto. Ako „soft“ či „hard“ brexit nakoniec bude, ovplyvnia nielen hlavní vyjednávači EÚ a Veľkej Británie, ale i britský parlament, ktorý bude musieť konečnú dohodu schváliť. Riziko odchodu bez akejkoľvek dohody nie je zanedbateľné.

Brexit bude mať v každom prípade podstatné hospodárske dôsledky aj pre Slovenskú republiku. Pripravujeme sa na všetky možnosti? Ako sa môžu pripraviť zamestnávatelia, vrátane malých a stredných podnikateľov? Ako im v tom môže pomôcť štát? Aké poučenia si môžeme, čím skôr, vziať od krajín západnej Európy?

Podujatie bude prebiehať v anglickom (panel I.) a slovenskom jazyku (panel II.) bez tlmočenia!

On March 29, 2019, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will definitely leave the European Union. What exactly happens a day later, no one can say for sure yet. As „soft“ or „hard“ brexit will ultimately be is yet to be determined not only by the EU and GB negotiators, but also by the British Parliament, which will have to endorse the final agreement. The risk of leaving without any agreement is still not negligible.

In any case, Brexit will have significant economic consequences for the Slovak Republic. Are we getting ready for all the options? How can employers, including small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, prepare themselves? How can the state help them? What lessons can we take from the countries of Western Europe?
